Alan Hugh Keenan

Allan Hugh Keenan of Elkmont, AL passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. He was born in Baltimore, MD on October 28, 1938 and was 82 years old. Allan served in the US Army. During his career lifetime he was an electrician, worked for a NASA contractor, helped in building Main Street South in Huntsville, and also ran his own hydroponic lettuce greenhouse business. He loved anything to do with agriculture, horses, and was an avid beekeeper. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 26th at 11:00am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Stephen and Mary Catherine Gately Keenan and brother, Robert G. (Olivia) Keenan, Sr. He is survived by his, Daughter, Kristen (Bill) Pfeiffer of Dellrose, TN Daughter, Stephanie Wilburn of Huntsville, AL Son, Timothy Keenan of Huntsville, AL Daughter, Erin (Cory) Gillies of Sandy, UT Grandchildren, Jake (Michelle) Pfeiffer, Conrad (Katherine) Pfeiffer, Gately Pfeiffer, Joey Wilburn, Sam Wilburn, Meagan Wilburn, Christian Gillies, and JJ Gillies Great Grandchild, Leo Pfeiffer. Brothers, Pat Keenan of Sommerville, AL Tom (Mary Ann) Keenan of Franklin, TN Sister, Angela (John) Liberto of Parkville, MD Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
