Doyle Edward Smith Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Doyle Edward Smith, Sr. passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. He was born in Giles County on December 29, 1935 and was 82 years old. Doyle was a loving husband and father that loved spending time with his family. He was a retired Baptist preacher and loved to spend time on the lake fishing. He always enjoyed telling jokes and was a huge fan of Alabama Football. Visitation will be held Thursday March 1st, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 2nd at 3:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Wells and Bro. Mack Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens The family suggests memorial donations be made to Wales Baptist Church, 1860 Campbellsville Road, Pulaski, TN 38478 He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Erma Smith, Wife Cleo Prentice Smith, and several brother and sisters. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Smith of Pulaski. Daughters, Pam (Scott) Tarpley of Pulaski. Janet Dunavant of Pulaski Sons - Eddie (Shirley) Smith of Pulaski. Billy Joe (Teresa) Griggs of Pulaski.James (Donna) Griggs of Pulaski. Sisters - Jean (Mark) Phelps of Pulaski. Alice Brown of Pulaski Inez Rogers of Shelbyville.
