Obit Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home Mrs. Eleanor Hannah Dawes, age 96, formerly of the Stella community, passed away Wednesday evening, July 11th, 2007, in Decatur, Alabama. She was a homemaker and lifelong member of the Church of Christ and a charter member of the Stella Demonstration Club. Visitation will be Friday, July 13,2007 from 6:00 until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens, Pulaski, Tn. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Reed Dawes along with her parents, Charles and Susie Long Hannah She is survived by , Her son: James Dawes, Sr. and wife Barbara of Decatur, Al grandson: James Dawes, Jr. and wife Lois of Decatur, Al granddaughter: Suzette Potts and husband Allen of Centerville, Tn great granddaughters: Savannah and Karly Potts and a host of nieces and nephews.
