Obit Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home Mr. F. A. Crabtree age 90 of Lynnville passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski, Tn. He was a member of Lynnville United Methodist Church and born in the Kedron Community. He was a Charter Member of Pulaski Lions Club, receiving the Melvin Jones Fellow Award, Disguished Lion of the Decade, and Lifetime Membership Award. He was City of Pulaski Alderman, served two terms as Giles County Trustee, on the Board of Directors of Clear Water Lake Association, and an avid fisherman and hunter. He was assistant manager of the National Store, Manager of Fair Store and established the Coachman's Mens Shop. Visitation was Thursday, May 31, 2007 from 4:00 until 8:00pm and Friday, June 1, 2007 from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Funeral Service was Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 4:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Ward officiating. Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial Donations were suggested to Lynnville United Methodist Church He was preceded in death by, parents, Jim and Ada Miller Crabtree, sisters, Rosie Gooch, Dosia Hughes, and Ola Hughes, brother, Stokley Crabtree. He is survived by, daughter, Sandi Shores of Lynnville, grandchildren, Missy Locke and husband Terry of Lynnville, Jimmy Shores and wife Dannii of Kuwait City, Kuwait, sister, Polly Hughes of Pulaski, great-grandchildren, Trevan Locke and Sarah Locke of Lynnville, Carmen Shores of Mexico, and step-great grandson, Max Zamorino of Mexico.
