He was retired from Malleable/United Die Cast in Michigan. Visitation will be Friday, April 20th from 6:00 until 9:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 21st at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oxford Cemetery, Minor Hill, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by, Parents, Homer and Nannie Lee Mankins Townsend Brother, David Townsend He is survived by, Son, Steve and wife Kim Townsend of Michigan Son, Neal and wife Christa Townsend of Michigan Daughter, Sharon and husband Mark Merola of Michigan Daughter, Sonya and husband Jim Bromberek of Chicago, Ill Daughter, Tonya and husband Mike Thumm of Michigan 12 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren Sister, Willie Lou Word of Minor Hill, Tn. Sister, Polly Davis of Athens, Ala Brother, Bobby Joe and wife Emily Townsend of Minor Hill, Tn.
