Obit Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home Mr. John David Neal age 81 of Pulaski passed away Friday, March 28, 2008 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tn. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pulaski, Army veteran of World War II, a retired dairy farmer, director for 13 years of the Giles County Co-Op, director of the Union Bank, and on the advisory board of SunTrust Bank. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Monday, March 31st at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to First Baptist Church Building Fund. He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Gertrude Petty Neal and David Neal Brother, William Franklin Neal He is survived by his, Wife, of 44 years, Frances Scoggin Neal of Pulaski Son, Johnny Neal and wife Susan of Pulaski Daughter, Ann Hughes and husband Todd of Athens, Ala. Step-daughter, Renee Vassallo of NV. Brother, James Edward Neal and wife Faye of Columbia Six grandchildren, Dylan Neal, Drew Neal, Seth Hughes, Claire Hughes, Allie Hughes, and Shannon Shirey and husband Gerrord.
