He was a retired Navy Captain, well known as "Spineripper" and also retired from Boeing. Visitation will be Monday, March 19th from 10:00 until 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow visitation at 12:00noon with full military honors in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Hume presiding. Family Memorial services will be at a later date. He was preceded in death by, His father, James Francis Waples He is survived by, Mother, Margaret Lucille Faulhaber Daughter, Ann Stanton of Pulaski Daughter, Patricia Rahn of Jacksonville, Fla. Son, John Michael Waples, Jr. of Huntsville, Ala. Grandchildren, Michael Stanton, Meghan Stanton, Ashley Rahn, Christina Waples, William Waples, Michelle Waples, and Susan Waples Brother, Bill Waples of Prospect, Tn Brother, James Waples of Hingham, Mass.
