Obit Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home Mrs. Mary Blankenship Sanderson, age 78, of Pulaski, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2006 at her residence in Pulaski. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, 2006 from 10 o'clock until 12 o'clock at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12 o'clock in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Brister officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Monrovia, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie & Lena Thornton Blankenship, her daughter Mary Frances McLemore, Daughter-in-law and grandson Ginger & Shawn Sanderson. She is survived by her husband John David Sanderson of Pulaski. Sons: Charles David Sanderson & wife Sherry of Pulaski. Ronald Lira Sanderson & wife Debbie of Pulaski. Son-in-Law: Tommy McLemore of Griffin, Ga. Sisters: Margaret Hulsey & Wilma Andrews of Tony, Alabama. Grandchildren: Chris, Shannon, Larry, Christy, Shay, Stephanie, Tarah, Clay & Shelby. 7 Great-Grandchildren also survive. The family suggest memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
